We are Hidden Voice Productions
We are passionate about the power stories hold to transform perspectives, cultivate activism through cinema and theatre, and create real social change by championing the voices of the marginalised and underrepresented, both through the work we make and who's involved in making it.
Our creatively bold, original productions focus on celebrating what makes us human and bring light to experiences that are either unheard of or misrepresented in mainstream media or society, through authentic authorship and creatorship.
Our Productions

The Presence
Ignoring hatred is nothing new to Sara. She’s something of an expert. But ghosts left alone long enough will do anything for company. Unwatched shadows grow arms and teeth. And eventually, inevitably, something unwelcome pierces the veil and follows her home...

Lady Macbeth Was Never a Girl
A school term, a pair of forgotten joggers, a line from a play — in the ordinary spaces of uniformed days, one student starts to notice a quiet disconnect between who they are and who they’re expected to be.

The Wolf
As a young woman makes sense of her experience of Endometriosis through the lens of lycanthropy. She will discover that the lessons the archetype of the wolf has to teach her are just what she needs.
After an incident at school on the last day before half term, Keji, Mo, Amal, Bea and their foster families are called into the headteacher's office. As they unravel what happened, we glimpse the everyday bravery, joy and humanity of foster-care set against the backdrop of child asylum claims.
Powerful stories told by authentic voices
We proudly ensure that not only are all our productions authentically written and created, but that they are made by those who are underrepresented in the industry too.

"The film is a piece of art that cuts through so much of the noise and offers a take on a story that none of us have actually seen anywhere else, and is made by the very people that this sort of division is impacting directly. The gratitude for that knows no bounds"
"There was a powerful feeling in the building during filming- in the middle of backwards and biased press coverage of the queer and trans community, I watched our cast and crew laugh, sing and play together, which felt like the most beautiful defiance.”
